Menu

Every route here was walked against the platform's own help pages. When a menu moves, the re-checked date on the page moves with it.

Corrections first, requests second, and a short note on what we do with messages from vendors.

Corrections

Of everything that arrives at this address, a correction is the one we want most. Platforms move menus, rename panels and change what their exports contain, and when they do, a page here quietly becomes wrong.

Write to [email protected] with three things: which platform, which page of this site, and what you actually saw on screen instead. That is enough to re-walk the step and fix it, and the re-checked date on the page moves when we do.

You do not need to be polite about it. A page giving people a bad instruction is a page doing harm, and the quicker somebody tells us, the shorter that lasts.

Requests for a route we have not covered

There are far more platform pairs than there are hours, so the guides here start with the moves people actually make. If yours is not covered, say which two platforms and roughly what is on the site — pages only, blog, store, memberships — and it goes on the list.

Requests that describe a real site in a real situation are more useful than a bare pair of platform names, because the answer usually depends on what you have rather than where you are going.

What we cannot do

We do not do the migration for you, recommend an agency, or debug a specific site remotely. This is a publication, not a service, and pretending otherwise would waste your time at a point when you have none to spare.

If you are stuck mid-move, the fastest route to an answer is usually the platform’s own support, because they can see your account and we cannot.

Vendors

If you work for a platform written about here and something is inaccurate, tell us and we will correct it — same address, same speed, and we will name the correction on the page.

What will not happen is a change of judgement. Describing what your export file does and does not contain is reporting, and a request to omit a documented limitation is a request we will decline. Offers of payment, affiliate terms and product access do not alter a procedure and are not relevant to one.

Everything else

General questions go to the same address. We read everything and reply to what we can.

If you are about to start a move, read the moving-day checklist first — most questions that arrive here are answered on it.
